Top 3 Fashion Designers that Influenced Me

There are so many fashion designers in this world. Many designers has inspired me to be like them. As a result, Fashion Designing became my dream and I believe I am destined to be one. Since a little kid, I love to draw (even though I mostly dance during those days) and dress-up my dolls or even my young cousins with blankets. I have collected many dolls and until now it is still here.

Fashion Designing opened me to the world of arts. It showed me a dream that I must pursue. I may not know how to use sewing machine yet but I have a collection of my own designs that someday, I’ll be able to make.

Thousands of fashion designer exist today. Almost all of them influenced me. Most of all, I have top 3 Fashion Designer whom I adore the most. Here they are:

1. Monique Lhuillier

She is a Filipina like me (even though she is Half-French). Today, Monique Lhuillier is known to be a fashion designer and creative director. Lhuillier was invited to be a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2003. She received the Presidential Medal of Merit from the Philippines president Gloria Macapagal – Arroyo in 2006. Her designs are just amazing. Someday, I want to be like her designing the clothes of International Artist.

2. Coco Chanel

Who would forget Coco Channel? She is one of the best fashion designers in history. She is an excellent French fashion designer, who is the founder of Chanel brand, whose modernist thought, practical design, and pursuit of expensive simplicity made her an important and influential figure in 20th-century fashion. She was the only fashion designer to be named on Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century. Her designs are unique that made it well-known through the corners of the world.

3. Michael Cinco

He is a Dubai-based Filipino designer who is best known for his magnificent couture gowns. His creations merely speak grandeur and elegance. He designed clothes for different International Artist. His creations are on fire that it dominated the corners of the world. Couture gowns are one of the most important thing for me to do when I become a fashion designer that’s why I admire the creations of Michael Cinco.

These designers are my top inspiration to pursue my career in fashion design.
